Job Description

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is seeking an experienced and driven individual to serve as Senior Director of the Supply Chain. This is a highly visible role where you will be responsible for providing leadership in the development and execution of strategies and initiatives that will improve the overall efficiencies and effectiveness of Supply Chain operations. The ideal candidate for this position will bring a combination of knowledge and experience in supply chain management, project management, and process improvement. You should have a strong desire to lead and develop a team, the ability to think strategically and execute tactically, and the capability to manage multiple projects within tight timelines. You should also have excellent communication and organizational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management is required, and experience in healthcare is preferred. If you are a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual looking to make a meaningful impact in a hospital setting, we want you to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement strategies to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Supply Chain operations
  2. Lead and develop a team to achieve Supply Chain objectives
  3. Oversee multiple projects within tight timelines
  4. Analyze current supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement
  5. Develop and implement process improvements and project plans
  6. Communicate effectively and collaborate with other departments
  7. Manage budgets and resources to ensure optimal utilization
  8. Monitor industry trends and best practices for implementation
  9. Develop policies and procedures for Supply Chain operations
  10. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
