Senior Database Administrator

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is in search of an experienced Senior Database Administrator to join their dynamic team. We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with expertise in database management to ensure the successful management of our database systems. The successful candidate will possess an excellent ability to analyze and solve complex problems, a drive to continuously improve, and the capability to work effectively as part of a team.The Senior Database Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and administering the hospital’s database systems. The Administrator will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, proven experience in database design and administration, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least five years of experience in the database administration field. The successful candidate must also have a thorough understanding of database systems and principles, experience with relational databases, and a strong working knowledge of SQL.
