Job Description

We at Providence St. Patrick Hospital are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Clinical Informatics Education Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate should have the ability to lead our training program in the development and delivery of clinical informatics educational materials to our staff. This role requires a combination of exceptional instructional design and training skills, as well as clinical informatics and healthcare knowledge. The Senior Clinical Informatics Education Specialist will be responsible for the successful execution of the education and training program for the implementation of new clinical informatics applications. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks.The ideal candidate will bring a combination of clinical informatics knowledge, instructional design and training skills, and healthcare knowledge. They will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while adhering to organizational standards. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver clinical informatics educational materials to staff.
  2. Manage the education and training program for the implementation of new clinical informatics applications.
  3. Utilize instructional design and training skills to ensure successful execution of the program.
  4. Maintain organizational standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Ensure effective communication and interpersonal skills while managing multiple projects and tasks.
  6. Incorporate a combination of clinical informatics knowledge, instructional design and training skills, and healthcare knowledge into the program.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program to ensure continuous improvement.
