
RN - Orthopedics
Providence St. Patrick Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized knowledge in Orthopedics to join our team. The qualified candidate will manage medical issues associated with orthopedic conditions, provide patient care, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment plans. They must have a current RN license in Montana and at least three years of experience in orthopedic nursing. Knowledge of orthopedic and trauma nursing theories and practices, as well as familiarity with relevant medical software, is also required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care to orthopedic patients in accordance with hospital and professional standards.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans that incorporate relevant orthopedic and trauma nursing theories and practices.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other therapies to orthopedic patients as needed.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report changes to the medical team.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues regarding treatment plans, medical concerns, and other topics related to orthopedic care.
- Utilize medical software to accurately document patient information, track medical histories, and monitor treatments.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain current knowledge of orthopedic nursing trends and best practices.
- Remain compliant with all hospital and professional regulations, such as HIPAA and safety protocols.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Montana
At Least Years Of Relevant Acute Care Experience
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing Or Equivalent Degree
Current Bls/Acls Certification
