- Provide exceptional care to mothers and their newborns during the labor and delivery process.
- Utilize clinical expertise and compassionate nature to support and guide patients through the labor and delivery process.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcome for mother and baby.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
- Monitor and assess the health and well-being of mother and baby during labor and delivery.
- Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as needed.
- Educate and prepare patients and their families for the labor and delivery process.
- Respond to and manage any emergency situations that may arise during labor and delivery.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to labor and delivery care.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during the labor and delivery process.
- Advocate for and promote the best interests of the patient and their family.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required by the hospital.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Act as a role model for new or less experienced staff members.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Montana
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution
Bls And Nrp Certifications
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Labor And Delivery Nursing
Ability To Work Night Shifts And Provide 24/7 Coverage For Labor And Delivery Unit.
