Job Description

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Infusion team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and coordinate nursing services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. If you have the qualifications and are eager to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, we invite you to apply.Required Qualifications:• Current RN license in the State of Montana• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills• Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university• At least one year of experience in an Infusion setting• Current certification in BLS and ACLS

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care to patients receiving infusion therapy, including administering medications, educating patients on infusion therapy, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support.
  2. Develop nursing care plans for patients receiving infusion therapy and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
  3. Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
  4. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and document all patient care activities.
  6. Ensure the safety of all patients receiving infusion therapy and respond to any medical emergencies.
  7. Maintain knowledge of current professional standards and best practices in the infusion setting.
  8. Participate in team meetings and provide input on quality improvement initiatives.
  9. Assist with the orientation and training of new staff members.
  10. Foster an environment of collaboration and teamwork with other healthcare professionals.
