Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital as an RN in our Level II Trauma Emergency Department on the night shift. As an RN in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise and critical thinking skills to provide exceptional care to patients in need. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency care and a current RN license in the state of Montana.   1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  2. Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  7. Monitor and assess patient's vital signs and response to treatments.
  8. Act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations to stabilize and treat patients.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  11. Stay current on best practices and evidence-based guidelines for emergency care.
  12. Provide support and guidance to less experienced nursing staff.
  13. Help maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  14. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  15. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of patient care.
  16. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  17. Comply with all state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
  18. Attend required trainings and education programs to maintain and enhance nursing skills.
  19. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families.
  20. Uphold the hospital's mission and values in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Montana.

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Equivalent From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Working As An Rn In An Emergency Department Or Critical Care Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience In Providing Care For Patients With Level Ii Trauma Injuries And Conditions.
