- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess and prioritize patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Respond quickly and efficiently to emergency situations.
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to provide optimal patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Continuously assess and reassess patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and promote preventative care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve nursing skills.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.
Valid Rn License: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid And Current License As A Registered Nurse In The State Of Montana.
Minimum Education: A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Is Preferred, But An Associate's Degree In Nursing (Adn) May Also Be Accepted.
Experience In Emergency Care: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working In An Emergency Department Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Emergency Protocols And Procedures.
Bls And Acls Certification: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For The Rn Position In The Emergency Department.
Excellent Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And The Interdisciplinary Team. They Should Also Demonstrate Critical Thinking Skills To Make Quick And Accurate Decisions In High-Pressure Situations.
