  1. Develop and implement patient education programs related to infusion therapy.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team to assess patient education needs and develop individualized education plans.
  3. Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of patient knowledge, understanding, and readiness to learn.
  4. Provide comprehensive education on infusion therapy, including medication administration, potential side effects, and self-management techniques.
  5. Utilize effective teaching strategies to ensure patient comprehension and retention of information.
  6. Evaluate patient progress and adjust education plans as needed.
  7. Provide ongoing support and resources to patients and their families to promote self-care and independence.
  8. Serve as a resource for healthcare team on infusion therapy education and best practices.
  9. Document all patient education interactions and maintain accurate records.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and incorporate new techniques and information into patient education materials.
  11. Advocate for patient needs and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
  12. Maintain a compassionate and patient-centered approach to all interactions.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to patient education and infusion therapy.
  15. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare team to facilitate communication and address any concerns or issues.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Montana

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Infusion Nursing And Patient Education

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Infusion Therapy, Including Iv Medication Administration And Management

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Educate And Communicate With Patients And Their Families

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Leadership In Patient Care And Education.
