- Provide radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of radiation therapy treatments.
- Monitor patient's response to treatment and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment plans and progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on radiation therapy procedures and potential side effects.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in radiation therapy technology and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the delivery of radiation therapy services.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients during the treatment process.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room and equipment.
- Attend trainings, workshops, and conferences to continue professional development.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism in all interactions.
- Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
- Meet productivity and performance goals set by the hospital.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to obtain authorization for treatments.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Radiation Therapy.
Current State License To Practice Radiation Therapy.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Procedures And Protocols, As Well As Experience With Advanced Treatment Techniques Such As Imrt And Igrt.
