- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize electronic health record systems and ensure they meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients.
- Utilize your expertise in healthcare technology and nursing to provide guidance and support to other team members in the use of clinical informatics.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of the electronic health record system to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for enhancements.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and challenges in using technology for patient care, and develop solutions to address these issues.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of new clinical informatics initiatives to improve patient outcomes and drive quality and safety improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in clinical informatics, and apply this knowledge to enhance the use of technology in healthcare delivery.
- Act as a key resource for troubleshooting and resolving issues with the electronic health record system, ensuring minimal disruption to patient care.
- Develop and deliver training and educational programs to healthcare professionals on the use of clinical informatics tools and systems.
- Serve as a liaison between the clinical and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into easily understandable terms for healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare facilities within the Providence network to share best practices and align clinical informatics initiatives.
Rn Licensure: The Principal Clinical Informatics Specialist Must Possess A Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Montana Or Be Eligible For Licensure.
Clinical Experience: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working As An Rn In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Organization.
Informatics Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Advanced Knowledge And Experience In Clinical Informatics, Including Electronic Health Records (Ehr) Systems And Clinical Workflows.
Leadership And Project Management Skills: The Principal Clinical Informatics Specialist Will Be Responsible For Leading And Coordinating Clinical Informatics Projects, So Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills Are Essential.
