
Primary Care Physician

- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Provide high-quality primary care services to patients of all ages, including physical examinations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribing medications.
- Monitor and manage patient health conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and making appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, physician assistants, and specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients, adhering to privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive care measures and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of safe and effective patient care.
- Continuously stay updated on medical advancements, best practices, and industry standards to provide the highest level of care to patients.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with patients, colleagues, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Attend regular team meetings and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity in the workplace and providing culturally competent care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Primary Care Physician At Providence St. Patrick Hospital Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From A Recognized Medical School.
Board Certification In Family Medicine Or Internal Medicine: Candidates Must Be Board Certified In Either Family Medicine Or Internal Medicine By The American Board Of Medical Specialties Or The American Osteopathic Association.
State Medical License: All Applicants Must Hold A Valid Medical License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing, And Must Be In Good Standing With The State Medical Board.
Prior Experience In Primary Care: Candidates Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Primary Care Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As Primary Care Physicians Play A Crucial Role In Building Relationships With Patients, Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
