
Pharmacy Technician- Long Term Care Pharmacy

- Maintain proper inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and restocking as needed.
- Accurately input prescription orders into the computer system and verify patient information.
- Ensure all medications are labeled properly according to state and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to address any questions or concerns regarding medications.
- Follow all safety and infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication therapy management for patients.
- Maintain and update patient medication records and profiles, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to medication orders and stock levels.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Pharmacy Technician Position At Providence St. Patrick Hospital Is A High School Diploma Or Its Equivalent.
