Pharmacy Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Supervisor to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be passionate about providing excellent patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance, and providing patient-centered care.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field and a minimum of 5 years of pharmacy experience. You should also have a strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and experience in supervising a pharmacy team. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy, including ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
2. Provide patient-centered care, including medication counseling and answering any questions patients may have.
3. Supervise pharmacy staff, assign tasks, and provide guidance and training.
4. Ensure that all pharmacy staff adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
5. Develop policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
6. Maintain records of medications dispensed and other pharmacy activities.
7. Monitor inventory levels and order new medications as necessary.
8. Keep up to date on all laws and regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.
9. Train and mentor new pharmacy staff members.
10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
