Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacist - Intern to join our pharmacy team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in a healthcare setting. The Pharmacist - Intern will be responsible for providing pharmacy services and performing duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.We require the ideal candidate to have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, current licensure, and knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations. Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
  2. Prepare and dispense medications, compounding, and medication management.
  3. Provide quality patient care by answering inquiries, troubleshooting medication issues, and providing education and counseling.
  4. Maintain accurate and complete records of patient medication information.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
  6. Monitor patient progress and respond to adverse drug reactions.
  7. Assist with inventory management and medication ordering.
  8. Participate in professional development activities and continuing education programs.
  9. Adhere to safety regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
  10. Provide support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff.
