
Pharmacist - Intern
Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacist - Intern to join our pharmacy team. The Pharmacist - Intern will be responsible for providing pharmacy services and performing duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.We require the ideal candidate to have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, current licensure, and knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Prepare and dispense medications, compounding, and medication management.
- Provide quality patient care by answering inquiries, troubleshooting medication issues, and providing education and counseling.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient medication information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to adverse drug reactions.
- Assist with inventory management and medication ordering.
- Participate in professional development activities and continuing education programs.
- Adhere to safety regulations and departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and other staff.
