We are currently seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacist Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work alongside experienced pharmacists in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   1. Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing and preparing medication orders for patients.
  2. Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of medications and supplies.
  3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient medication profiles.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
  5. Participate in medication therapy management and patient counseling.
  6. Observe and adhere to all laws and regulations governing pharmacy operations.
  7. Complete all required documentation and record-keeping accurately and in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  9. Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and education opportunities.
  10. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective medication use.
  11. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including those related to safety and infection control.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  13. Communicate any medication errors or discrepancies to the appropriate parties.
  14. Assist with quality improvement initiatives and participate in department meetings.
  15. Strive to meet or exceed performance goals and expectations.
