Job Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Patient Transportation Coordinator to join our team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating efficient and safe transport of our patients to other medical facilities and ensuring that all necessary paperwork and protocols are followed along the way. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a commitment to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure safe and efficient transport of patients from Providence St. Patrick Hospital to other medical facilities.
  2. Communicate with patients and their families to coordinate transport arrangements.
  3. Assist with patient registration and paperwork to ensure all necessary protocols are followed.
  4. Monitor patients in transit to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all patient transportation activities and update patient files accordingly.
  6. Remain up-to-date on relevant hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Provide timely reports to appropriate hospital personnel.
  8. Collaborate with other medical personnel to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
  9. Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
