Patient Registration Specialist

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an experienced and motivated Patient Registration Specialist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and providing excellent customer service. As a Patient Registration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all patient registration needs are met in a timely and accurate manner.The ideal candidate for this position should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience working in a healthcare environment, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all patient registration needs are met in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Maintain customer service standards while interacting with patients and other healthcare professionals.
3. Verify insurance and other pertinent information during registration process.
4. Answer inquiries and resolve issues related to patient registration.
5. Utilize medical software and EMR systems during registration process.
6. Assist with creating registration packets for new patients.
7. Enter and update patient information in patient database.
8. Follow hospital policies and procedures related to patient registration.
9. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable laws.
10. Monitor and maintain registration records.
