
Non-Certified Chaplain - PACE/Elder Place

- Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and their families in the PACE/Elder Place program.
- Demonstrate a high level of empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure the best care and support for patients.
- Learn and adhere to the ethical and cultural guidelines of the hospital and the PACE/Elder Place program.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to patient care.
- Continuously strive to improve and expand knowledge of spiritual and emotional support techniques.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
- Adapt to a dynamic and diverse environment and be open to learning and growth opportunities.
- Participate in training and educational programs to enhance chaplaincy skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions with patients and their families.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and their families during difficult times.
- Support and promote the mission and values of Providence St. Patrick Hospital.
- Uphold the hospital's standards of professionalism and ethical behavior at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Theology, Divinity, Or A Related Field.
At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Chaplaincy Or Pastoral Care Role.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Emotional Support And Guidance To Patients And Their Families.
Familiarity With The Principles And Practices Of Various Religious Traditions, As Well As The Ability To Provide Non-Denominational Spiritual Care.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team, Respecting The Beliefs And Values Of All Individuals Involved.
