1. Provide music therapy and spiritual support to patients and their families during end-of-life care.
2. Utilize musical skills and knowledge to create a comforting and peaceful environment for patients and their loved ones.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and address the emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients and their families.
4. Offer spiritual guidance and counseling to patients and their families, respecting their individual beliefs and values.
5. Maintain a compassionate and empathetic demeanor while providing emotional support to patients and their families.
6. Create and maintain a repertoire of appropriate music for end-of-life care, including traditional and contemporary spiritual songs.
7. Ensure the music therapy program is in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
9. Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient care and provide input on spiritual and emotional well-being.
10. Keep detailed records of patient interactions and progress, while maintaining patient confidentiality.
