
MRI Technologist
Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an experienced and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI machines to create images of the body for diagnostic purposes. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols. If you have a passion for helping others and are looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient health and wellness, this position is for you.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a two-year degree in Radiology Technology or a related medical field, along with a valid state license and ARRT certification in MRI. Additionally, they should possess a minimum of one year of experience working in a clinical setting as an MRI Technologist. The successful candidate will also have a strong knowledge of safety precautions and protocols, as well as the ability to produce high-quality imaging. Above all else, this individual must have a compassionate and patient-centric approach when it comes to providing medical care.
Responsibilities of an MRI Technologist:
- Operate MRI machines to create images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Utilize safety protocols and precautions pertaining to MRI imaging.
- Monitor and adjust MRI machines to ensure optimal image quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of MRI equipment.
- Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and ensuring that they are comfortable and safe.
- Provide patient-centric care, ensuring that all patient needs are met.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical personnel to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
- Evaluate imaging results to identify potential abnormalities.
- Follow department protocols and policies to ensure safety and accuracy of imaging results. 10.Maintain accurate patient records and submit reports to the appropriate personnel.
