MRI Technologist

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an experienced and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI machines to create images of the body for diagnostic purposes. Above all else, this individual must have a compassionate and patient-centric approach when it comes to providing medical care.

Responsibilities of an MRI Technologist:

1. Operate MRI machines to create images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
2. Utilize safety protocols and precautions pertaining to MRI imaging.
3. Monitor and adjust MRI machines to ensure optimal image quality.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of MRI equipment.
5. Prepare patients for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and ensuring that they are comfortable and safe.
6. Provide patient-centric care, ensuring that all patient needs are met.
7. Collaborate with radiologists and other medical personnel to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
8. Evaluate imaging results to identify potential abnormalities.
9. Follow department protocols and policies to ensure safety and accuracy of imaging results. 10.Maintain accurate patient records and submit reports to the appropriate personnel.
