Responsibilities:

  1. Transcribe medical documents accurately and efficiently while adhering to hospital protocols.
  2. Analyze medical reports and audio recordings to ensure accuracy of patient histories.
  3. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and hospital policies.
  4. Utilize software programs to enter patient data into the hospital's electronic health record (EHR) system.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records.
  6. Manage confidential patient information and documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to patients and other members of the healthcare team.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of new processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  9. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
