  8. Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and in good working condition.
  9. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients, understanding their individual needs and tailoring treatments accordingly.
  10. Participate in team meetings and trainings to share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues to improve patient care.
  11. Represent the hospital in a professional and positive manner and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  12. Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines set by the American Massage Therapy Association and other relevant organizations.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  14. Adhere to strict scheduling and time management to ensure timely and efficient treatment of patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid State License: The Candidate Must Have A Valid State License To Practice Massage Therapy, Demonstrating That They Have Met The Necessary Education And Training Requirements.

  • Minimum Education: A Minimum Of 500 Hours Of Massage Therapy Education From An Accredited Institution Is Required, Providing A Strong Foundation In Anatomy, Physiology, And Massage Techniques.

  • Experience: Previous Experience In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates The Ability To Work With A Diverse Patient Population And Provides A Deeper Understanding Of Medical Conditions And Treatments.

  • Specialized Training: Additional Training In Specific Massage Modalities Such As Oncology Massage Or Prenatal Massage Is Preferred, As It Shows A Commitment To Providing Specialized Care For Patients With Unique Needs.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Medical Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For A Massage Therapist At A Hospital. This Includes Listening To Patients' Concerns, Providing Clear Instructions, And Documenting Treatment Plans.
