
Manager Patient Access
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as Manager of Patient Access at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and customer service skills, as well as a commitment to delivering the highest quality of care for our patients.The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the overall operations of our patient access services, which includes overseeing all staff within the department, as well as ensuring that patient wait times and service levels are maintained.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in the patient access or patient registration area. They must also possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred. In addition, the successful candidate should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all staff within the Patient Access department, ensuring that quality of care and service levels are maintained.
- Manage the overall operations of the Patient Access services.
- Monitor and control patient wait times and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor staff in the department.
- Monitor patient access performance metrics and take necessary corrective action.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide the best patient care experience.
