Job Description

We’re currently looking for an experienced and caring Manager of Nursing for our Cardiac Cath Lab at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of patient-centered, quality-focused care in a safe environment. This is a great opportunity to have a lasting impact on patient care and outcomes. To be successful in this role, you’ll need a minimum of five years of clinical experience in the cardiovascular field, with at least two of those in a management role. You’ll need a current Montana nursing license and certification in advanced cardiac life support. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of regulatory standards, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a passion for developing a team of professionals. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  2. Ensure the delivery of patient-centered, quality-focused care in a safe environment.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  4. Develop and maintain a team of professionals.
  5. Make sure excellent communication and problem-solving skills are used.
  6. Monitor and evaluate performance of the nursing team.
  7. Provide clinical guidance and support to the nursing staff.
  8. Educate and mentor nursing staff on best practices and techniques.
  9. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  10. Work closely with other departments to coordinate patient care.
