
Interventional Radiologic Technologist
Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a vital member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for performing and monitoring complex radiologic procedures. Your technical knowledge, compassionate care, and attention to detail are critical to providing high-quality patient care.To be successful in this role, you must have a radiology technology degree from an accredited college or university and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). In addition, you must have a minimum of two years of experience as an IR technologist in a hospital or radiology clinic setting. You must also have the ability to work effectively with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.If you possess the qualifications listed above and are ready to make a positive impact on our radiology team, we look forward to hearing from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex radiologic procedures with accuracy and precision.
- Monitor radiologic procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Provide compassionate care to patients during procedures.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment in the radiology department.
- Ensure all medical records and images are accurately documented and stored.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other members of the healthcare team.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and advancements in radiology.
- Maintain certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education and training.
