1. Assist senior histotechnologists in the preparation and analysis of tissue samples.
2. Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory.
3. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures and results.
4. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
5. Participate in ongoing training and education to develop skills and knowledge in histotechnology.
6. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate test results.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
8. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
9. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide support and answer any questions or concerns.
10. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by being a team player and actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
