Food Service Attendant

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service by preparing and serving quality food to customers in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant.The ideal candidate for this position must be passionate about customer service and have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. We are looking for someone who is organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must also possess a high school diploma or GED, as well as at least one year of prior experience in food service.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve quality food to customers in a timely manner.
2. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant.
3. Provide outstanding customer service.
4. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
5. Maintain organized workspace and adhere to safety standards.
6. Monitor food inventory and ensure adequate supplies.
7. Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to proper storage procedures.
8. Assist in food preparation as needed.
9. Perform cashier duties as needed.
10. Operate kitchen equipment as required.
11. Answer customer questions and address any concerns.
12. Report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
