Food Service Attendant

1. Greet and welcome patients, families, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Ensure that all food service areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
3. Prepare and serve meals to patients according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
4. Monitor and record patient food intake, making note of any special requests or concerns.
5. Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal delivery.
6. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling and storing food.
7. Assist in the set-up and clean-up of patient meal trays and dining areas.
8. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards patients and their families.
9. Handle any customer inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
10. Collaborate with other food service staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
11. Keep track of inventory and notify management of any supply needs.
12. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures.
13. Attend trainings and meetings as required.
14. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
15. Continuously strive to provide the highest quality of customer service to patients and staff.
16. Assist with special events and catering services as needed.
17. Follow proper food handling and storage techniques to ensure safety and prevent foodborne illnesses.
18. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
19. Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
