Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enrollment Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in helping our patients enroll in Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans. As an Enrollment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our patients and their families to ensure they have access to the best healthcare options available.   1. Communicate with patients and their families to explain Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans and assist with enrollment process.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring they have a positive experience while enrolling in healthcare plans.
  3. Maintain thorough knowledge of Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans, including eligibility requirements, coverage options, and enrollment procedures.
  4. Work closely with insurance companies and government agencies to verify patient eligibility and ensure proper enrollment.
  5. Collect and accurately input patient information and documentation into enrollment systems.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless enrollment process and patient satisfaction.
  7. Educate patients on the benefits and features of different healthcare plans, as well as any potential changes or updates.
  8. Keep detailed records of patient interactions and enrollment status, and provide regular updates to management.
  9. Assist with resolving any issues or concerns related to enrollment, including billing and claims inquiries.
  10. Keep up-to-date on industry changes and regulations related to Medicare and healthcare plans, and adjust enrollment strategies accordingly.
  11. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  12. Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve knowledge and skills related to enrollment processes.
  13. Collaborate with marketing and outreach teams to promote Medicare Advantage and Supplement plans to the community.
  14. Handle any other related duties or responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Medicare Advantage And Supplement Plans: The Enrollment Specialist Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Various Medicare Advantage And Supplement Plans Available, Including Eligibility Requirements, Coverage Options, And Enrollment Processes.

  • Experience In Healthcare Enrollment: It Is Important For The Specialist To Have Previous Experience In Enrolling Individuals In Healthcare Plans, Preferably In The Medicare Population. This Will Ensure A Strong Understanding Of The Enrollment Process And Any Regulations Or Guidelines That Must Be Followed.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: As The Main Point Of Contact For Potential Enrollees, The Specialist Must Possess Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Explain Complex Healthcare Information And Answer Any Questions Or Concerns.

  • Attention To Detail: Enrollment Specialists Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accurate And Timely Completion Of Enrollment Forms And Documentation. Mistakes Can Lead To Delays Or Denials, So Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: The Enrollment Process For Medicare Advantage And Supplement Plans Can Be Time-Sensitive And Require Quick Decision Making. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Work Well Under Pressure And Handle A High Volume Of Enrollment Inquiries Efficiently.
