
Endoscopic Technician
As an Endoscopic Technician at Providence St. Patrick Hospital, you will be a valued member of a team that provides quality patient care and service. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance with endoscopic procedures in the GI Lab. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in endoscopy and a passion for providing patient-centered care.The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additionally, you must have a minimum of two years of experience as an Endoscopic Technician and be certified or registry eligible from the National Board of Certification for Medical Technicians. A valid Montana license to perform endoscopy is also required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up endoscopic equipment prior to procedures.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures.
- Record patient data and take images during procedures.
- Clean and maintain endoscopic equipment.
- Ensure that all endoscopic procedures are conducted in accordance with established regulatory standards.
- Provide patient education and support before, during, and after the procedure.
- Maintain accurate records and reports regarding endoscopic procedures.
- Ensure that the endoscopy room is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team.
