
Emergency Technician

- Provide prompt and efficient emergency care to patients, including assessing their condition, administering first aid, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and physicians, to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in the emergency department, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all necessary equipment is available and in working order.
- Utilize knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols to respond to various emergency situations and provide appropriate care.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, including vital signs, treatments administered, and any changes in condition.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing support, reassurance, and information as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current on emergency care techniques and protocols.
- Assist with patient transfers to other departments or facilities, ensuring proper documentation and communication with receiving staff.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Display a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and their families, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Valid Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Or Paramedic From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Fast-Paced Emergency Medical Setting.
Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Remain Calm And Make Quick Decisions In High-Stress Situations.
Knowledge Of Advanced Life Support Techniques And Equipment, Including Defibrillators, Oxygen Delivery Systems, And Airway Management Tools.
Ability To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays, And Willingness To Be On-Call For Emergency Situations.
