
Emergency Department Technician
Providence St. Patrick Hospital is recruiting a detail-oriented and experienced Emergency Department Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patients with vital assistance and support, and must have a strong commitment to excellent customer service and collaboration.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or clinical setting, hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and possess a thorough understanding of medical terminology. The Emergency Department Technician must be compassionate, reliable, and work well in stressful situations. Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Technician:
- Provide patient assistance and support in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
- Assist medical staff in the delivery of patient care.
- Accurately document patient information in the hospital database.
- Monitor patient vital signs and alert medical staff of any changes.
- Assist medical staff with patient exams and treatments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Work closely with other medical staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
