Providence St. Patrick Hospital is recruiting a detail-oriented and experienced Emergency Department Technician. This is a great opportunity to join a team of dedicated and passionate medical professionals in delivering top-notch patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing patients with vital assistance and support, and must have a strong commitment to excellent customer service and collaboration.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or clinical setting, hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and possess a thorough understanding of medical terminology. The Emergency Department Technician must be compassionate, reliable, and work well in stressful situations. Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Technician:

  1. Provide patient assistance and support in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.
  3. Assist medical staff in the delivery of patient care.
  4. Accurately document patient information in the hospital database.
  5. Monitor patient vital signs and alert medical staff of any changes.
  6. Assist medical staff with patient exams and treatments.
  7. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  8. Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  9. Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service.
  10. Work closely with other medical staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
