- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to identify and address educational needs and gaps.
- Lead the development of educational materials, including presentations, workshops, and online resources.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and best practices to continuously improve educational programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Oversee the orientation and onboarding process for new nursing staff.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing staff in their professional development and continuing education.
- Build and maintain relationships with external educational institutions and organizations.
- Develop and manage the clinical education budget.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment of educational programs.
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking and reporting on the progress and outcomes of educational programs.
- Mentor and supervise other clinical education staff.
- Serve as a role model for our mission and values, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to clinical education.
- Participate in hospital committees and initiatives related to education and quality improvement.
- Act as a liaison between the hospital and external accrediting bodies.
- Participate in the recruitment and selection of nursing staff, including assessing their educational background and qualifications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels and promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Stay informed of current trends and advancements in the field of nursing education and use this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the hospital.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Montana.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Education Role, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Clinical Education Principles And Best Practices, Including Curriculum Development And Teaching Methodologies.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Healthcare Professionals At All Levels.
