Job Description

  1. Develop and implement strategies and initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services to patients.
  2. Lead and oversee a team of behavioral health professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  3. Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and maintain effective and efficient processes for patient care.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the behavioral health department, making necessary adjustments and improvements as needed.
  5. Stay up-to-date with advancements and changes in the field of mental health and substance abuse treatment, and integrate best practices into the hospital's behavioral health programs.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards for behavioral health services.
  7. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and the community to promote the hospital's mission and values.
  8. Communicate regularly with hospital leadership to provide updates on the status of the behavioral health department and address any concerns or challenges.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and provide a comprehensive treatment plan for patients.
  10. Serve as a role model for ethical and compassionate behavior, promoting a culture of empathy, understanding, and respect within the behavioral health department.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Psychology, Social Work, Or Counseling.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Senior Leadership Role Within A Behavioral Health Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practices And Current Trends In Behavioral Health Treatment.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Plans To Improve The Quality And Effectiveness Of Behavioral Health Services.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
