  1. Provide expert nutritional guidance and support to patients in order to improve their overall health and well-being.
  2. Evaluate patients' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans based on their medical conditions, dietary preferences, and cultural considerations.
  3. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition in order to provide the most effective and evidence-based care.
  6. Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper nutrition and how it can impact their health.
  7. Conduct nutrition assessments and provide counseling to patients with complex medical conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, and eating disorders.
  8. Develop and implement nutrition education programs for the community, promoting healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure high-quality and safe care for patients.
  11. Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to improve patient care and outcomes.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of nutrition services and make recommendations for process improvements.
  13. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and support staff, on nutrition-related matters.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients, colleagues, and hospital staff at all times.
  15. Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of clinical nutrition.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.

  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Dietetics, Nutrition, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Registration As A Registered Dietitian (Rd) By The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Nutrition Or A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy And Ability To Provide Evidence-Based Nutrition Counseling.
