
Dietitian
We at Providence St. Patrick Hospital are searching for a talented, passionate Dietitian to join our team. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can effectively communicate with patients and staff to ensure a quality standard of care. Our ideal candidate is a registered Dietitian who has a strong background in nutrition and the ability to implement nutrition care plans for a variety of patients. We are looking for a professional who is able to work effectively as part of our team and is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics • Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics • At least two years of experience in clinical nutrition • Knowledge of nutritional guidelines, food allergies, and dietary restrictions • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Knowledge of computer systems and programs
Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans for patients based on their health needs and preferences.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients in order to adjust nutrition care plans as needed.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients.
- Develop and implement nutrition policies and procedures in accordance with standards of care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and nutrition plans.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to nutrition and food service.
- Develop and implement nutrition programs to promote healthy eating habits.
- Research and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in nutrition and dietetics.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in nutrition.
