Job Description

Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team and provide excellent patient care. The ideal candidate possesses strong interpersonal skills, is detail-oriented and organized, and is passionate about providing quality patient care.The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will assist our team of radiologists in providing patients with diagnostic imaging services. Responsibilities include setting up and operating equipment, preparing patients for imaging, and ensuring the accuracy and safety of imaging procedures. We are looking for someone who is a team player and has the ability to work independently.Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field, such as radiologic technology, medical imaging, or radiology; two years of experience in a healthcare setting; and certification as a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant (DIA). The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be committed to providing compassionate care to our patients.We invite you to join our dedicated team of healthcare providers and help us provide the highest quality of care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set up and operate imaging equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  2. Prepare patients for imaging, including answering any questions and providing information about the procedure.
  3. Ensure the accuracy and safety of imaging procedures.
  4. Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with patients.
  5. Work closely with radiologists to provide quality patient care.
  6. Assist with any additional tasks as needed.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols for the use of imaging equipment.
  8. Document all imaging procedures and results.
  9. Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  10. Follow all policies and procedures of Providence St. Patrick Hospital.
