Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an experienced and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team. This individual should be reliable, hard-working, and have exceptional communication skills. In addition to a passion for providing outstanding patient care, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in the medical field and a strong knowledge of radiology and medical terminology.The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will assist the Radiology Technologist in providing quality patient care by performing radiology procedures as outlined by the Radiologist and in accordance with hospital policies and protocols. The qualified candidate should also possess the ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Radiology Technologist in providing quality patient care by performing radiology procedures as outlined by the Radiologist and in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
  2. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in order to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  3. Ensure that all equipment is properly functioning and calibrated and that all safety protocols are followed.
  4. Monitor and document all patient information and follow up with physicians and other medical staff as needed.
  5. Prepare and record patient information for radiology exams and treatments.
  6. Work collaboratively with other medical staff to ensure the best possible patient care.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality while handling all patient information.
  8. Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Remain up-to-date on current radiology techniques and technologies.
  10. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
