Job Description

At Providence St. Patrick Hospital, we strive to provide the highest quality of care to our patients, and we are looking for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join our team. We are seeking an individual with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills who is dedicated to providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable professional with a strong aptitude for learning and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care.The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment and must be comfortable with technology, have a strong ability to multitask, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively. This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the diagnostic imaging department, including preparing patients for imaging examinations, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment.Requirements for this position include an Associate's degree in Diagnostic Imaging, Radiology, or a related field; at least one year of experience in a hospital or medical setting; the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures; and a valid certification in radiography. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check. Responsibilities: -Prepare patients for imaging examinations -Operate imaging equipment -Maintain a safe and sterile environment -Follow verbal and written instructions and procedures -Provide excellent patient care -Multitask and work both independently and collaboratively -Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills -Maintain certification in radiography -Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background check -Perform other duties related to the diagnostic imaging department as assigned
