
Dental Assistant - Pediatrics
Providence St. Patrick Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Dental Assistant - Pediatrics to join our growing team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, providing quality dental care to infants and children in a safe, welcoming environment. Our ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in dental procedures and have an excellent bedside manner. We are looking for someone who is passionate about pediatric dentistry and can provide quality, compassionate care to our young patients.The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be certified as a Dental Assistant. You should have a minimum of one year of experience in a dental setting, preferably with pediatric patients. An eagerness to learn and grow in this field is also desired. The ability to work collaboratively with our team of dental professionals is a must, as is the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families. Responsibilities:
- Provide quality dental care to infants and children in a safe, welcoming environment.
- Ensure that all dental procedures are performed in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Maintain patient records and assist with administrative tasks.
- Work collaboratively with other dental professionals on the team.
- Monitor patients for signs of discomfort during treatment.
- Assist with the implementation of preventative and restorative treatments as directed by the dentist.
- Ensure that all safety and sterilization protocols are followed.
- Provide compassionate and understanding care to all patients.
