  1. Develop and maintain data pipelines and data warehouses to support the hospital's data infrastructure.
  2. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of all hospital data.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and design solutions to meet those needs.
  4. Utilize data modeling techniques to optimize data structures and ensure efficient data retrieval.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, systems, and policies.
  7. Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data engineering to continuously improve data infrastructure.
  9. Conduct regular data audits and implement data governance processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  10. Train and mentor junior data engineering staff to ensure consistent quality and standards across data processes.
  11. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate data from external sources into the hospital's data infrastructure.
  13. Continuously monitor and optimize data performance to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data to end-users.
  14. Adhere to data security protocols and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive data.
  15. Participate in data-related projects and initiatives to support the hospital's strategic goals and objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Data Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Data Engineering Or A Related Role.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And/Or Java.

  • Experience With Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, And Data Integration.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Data And Regulations, Such As Hipaa, Preferred.
