  1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of the medical staff credentialing process, including initial appointments, reappointments, and privileging.
  2. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements related to medical staff credentialing.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing files and databases for all medical staff members.
  4. Review and verify all credentials, licenses, and certifications for medical staff members to ensure they are current and valid.
  5. Communicate effectively with medical staff members to obtain necessary documentation and resolve any credentialing issues or discrepancies.
  6. Collaborate with various departments and committees to facilitate the credentialing process and ensure timely completion.
  7. Stay current with industry standards and best practices related to medical staff credentialing and make recommendations for process improvements as needed.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  9. Work closely with the Medical Staff Office and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  10. Provide support and assistance to medical staff members with any credentialing-related inquiries or concerns.
  11. Conduct audits and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all credentialing documents and processes.
  12. Participate in meetings and trainings related to credentialing and regulatory compliance.
  13. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of the credentialing process.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  15. Collaborate with other members of the credentialing team to ensure consistency and accuracy in all processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Credentialing And Privileging Processes.

  • Strong Working Knowledge Of Joint Commission Accreditation Standards And Cms Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Medical Staff, Hospital Leadership, And External Agencies.

  • Proficiency In Medical Terminology, Credentialing Software, And Microsoft Office Suite.
