Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Applicants Should Possess A Valid Cna Certification From An Accredited Program.
Strong Understanding Of Surgical Oncology: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Surgical Oncology Procedures, Protocols And Terminology To Effectively Assist In Patient Care.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Clearly And Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members Is Essential For This Role.
Attention To Detail: A High Level Of Attention To Detail Is Necessary To Accurately Document Patient Information, Assist With Procedures, And Monitor Patients For Any Changes Or Concerns.
Experience In An Acute Care Setting: Previous Experience Working As A Cna In An Acute Care Setting, Specifically In Surgical Oncology, Is Preferred. This Will Ensure The Candidate Is Familiar With The Fast-Paced And Complex Nature Of This Environment.
