CNA - Medical Surgical

We’re looking for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical Surgical team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. This position requires someone with a passion for providing excellent patient care and a strong sense of teamwork. The successful candidate will be a compassionate, detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to patient safety.The ideal CNA candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in a Medical Surgical setting. Candidate must have current certification as a Nursing Assistant from the Montana State Board of Nursing, as well as CPR certification. Additional qualifications include strong communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient safety.
2. Follow all protocols and procedures of the Medical Surgical team.
3. Demonstrate compassion and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Maintain current certification as a Nursing Assistant from the Montana State Board of Nursing.
5. Possess current CPR certification.
6. Possess strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
7. Work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to strict timelines.
8. Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and documentation.
9. Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and medical supplies.
10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
