  1. Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse.
  2. Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
  4. Help patients with mobility and transferring to and from beds or chairs.
  5. Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
  6. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement care plans for patients.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and answering any questions.
  8. Document patient care and observations accurately and timely.
  9. Attend and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
  11. Continuously strive to improve patient care by seeking feedback and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
  13. Comply with state and federal regulations for nursing assistants.
  14. Attend continuing education courses and maintain certification.
  15. Support the hospital's mission to provide compassionate care and improve the health of the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: To Qualify For A Cna Position At Providence St. Patrick Hospital, The Candidate Must Possess A Valid And Current Cna Certification.

  • Experience In Inpatient Rehabilitation: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working In An Inpatient Rehabilitation Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Rehabilitation Care: A Strong Understanding Of Rehabilitation Care And Techniques Is Necessary For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, And Other Rehabilitation Methods.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Cna, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Ability To Handle Physically Demanding Work: Cnas At Providence St. Patrick Hospital May Be Required To Assist Patients With Mobility And Other Physical Tasks. Therefore, The Candidate Must Have The Physical Stamina And Strength To Perform These Duties.
