
Clinical Pharmacist

- Dispensing Medications: The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately and safely dispensing medications to patients following all protocols and procedures.
- Medication Management: The Clinical Pharmacist will review patient medication profiles to ensure appropriateness, safety, and effectiveness of prescribed medications. They will also provide recommendations to healthcare providers regarding potential drug interactions and alternative therapies.
- Patient Education: The Clinical Pharmacist will educate patients on their medications, including proper administration, potential side effects, and drug interactions. They will also provide counseling on lifestyle modifications and disease management.
- Collaborative Teamwork: The Clinical Pharmacist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients. They will also participate in interdisciplinary rounds and provide input on medication-related issues.
- Quality Improvement: The Clinical Pharmacist will actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure safe and effective medication use. This may include medication use evaluations, medication reconciliation, and adverse drug event reporting.
- Compliance: The Clinical Pharmacist will ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmaceuticals. They will also maintain accurate records and documentation of medication dispensing and counseling.
- Continuous Learning: The Clinical Pharmacist will stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacotherapy and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Bachelor's Or Doctor Of Pharmacy Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Current Pharmacist License In The State Of Montana.
Previous Experience In A Clinical Pharmacy Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacotherapy And Medication Management.
Ability To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Patient Education.
