  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the mission and vision of the hospital, with a focus on excellence in patient care and outcomes.
  2. Provide visionary leadership to the nursing department, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  3. Oversee all aspects of nursing operations, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with medical staff, interdisciplinary teams, and other hospital leaders to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in nursing, patient safety, and quality improvement.
  6. Foster a positive work environment by promoting staff development, recognition, and open communication.
  7. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address any issues.
  8. Collaborate with other hospital leaders to develop and implement initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
  9. Serve as a role model for professional nursing practice, promoting evidence-based care and ethical standards.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in nursing to inform decision-making and drive innovation within the department.
  11. Effectively manage and resolve conflicts and challenges within the nursing department.
  12. Represent the hospital in professional organizations and community events to enhance its reputation and promote its mission.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field, With A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Progressive Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of Montana, Or Eligibility To Obtain One.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, Including Joint Commission Accreditation And Cms Guidelines.

  • Strong Financial Management Skills And Experience In Budget Development And Oversight.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Healthcare Professionals And Lead A Diverse Team.
