Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join the Sleep Laboratory team at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. The successful candidate will be a compassionate and highly organized professional with a background in providing quality nursing care in a sleep laboratory setting.The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience to provide direct patient care with a high level of skill and professionalism. They must have an active certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in the state of Montana and be comfortable with the responsibilities associated with monitoring sleep studies. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing the highest quality of care and patient experience in a compassionate and caring manner.The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) will be an integral part of the Sleep Laboratory team and will work collaboratively with other health care professionals to ensure the best possible care is provided to all patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care to patients in a sleep laboratory setting following best practices and standards of care.
  2. Monitor sleep studies and accurately document all data related to the patient’s sleep patterns.
  3. Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans and ensure that patients receive optimal care.
  4. Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion when interacting with patients and other health care professionals.
  5. Assist in the preparation of the sleep laboratory for patients and ensure that all equipment is clean and in working order.
  6. Follow safety protocols and adhere to all policies and procedures related to patient care.
  7. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay up to date on best practices and new developments in the field.
  8. Administer medications, treatments, and other therapeutic interventions as directed by the physician and sleep laboratory team.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Cpr Certification

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification

  • Prior Experience Working In A Sleep Laboratory

  • Knowledge Of Sleep Laboratory Protocols And Procedures

  • Ability To Accurately Communicate Patient Data To Physicians

  • Ability To Use Sleep Laboratory Equipment

  • Proficiency In Computer Applications Related To Sleep Laboratory Operations

  • Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills.
