Certified Nurse Assistant - Sleep Laboratory

At Providence St. Patrick Hospital, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our Sleep Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for providing exceptional patient care. The CNA will be responsible for assisting physicians and nurses with patient care and vital sign assessments in the sleep laboratory.This position requires a current CNA certification and a minimum of one year of experience in a medical setting. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and have a working knowledge of medical terminology. Responsibilities:

1. Assist physicians and nurses with patient care and vital sign assessments in the sleep laboratory.
2. Provide quality patient care and customer service.
3. Ensure strong attention to detail in all patient care activities.
4. Maintain a working knowledge of medical terminology.
5. Monitor patient vital signs and document any changes.
6. Follow all hospital policies and procedures related to patient care.
7. Assist with medical equipment set-up and operation as needed.
8. Provide patient education on sleep and other related topics.
9. Report any patient concerns or health issues to the physician or nurse.
10. Assist with preparing patients for tests and procedures.
